Hi All

Here we are again in lock down. My first romantic novel ‘FOR RICHER’ was published during the first lock down and I am spending another lock down completing my second novel ‘A MILLIONAIRE’S PROMISE that will be published soon and in the meantime I’d like to share a teaser of the first chapter.

A MILLIONAIRE’S PROMISE – Part of Chapter 1

Chapter 1 – A Promise Fulfilled

“Are you absolutely sure about this Alexandra you know my views on the matter and my opinion of the man. With your qualifications you will get a job anywhere in the world why persist in accepting Elliott Wilding’s offer?”

Aunt Marjorie’s voice sounded weary. This was not the first time she had shared her thoughts on the topic of her Godfather and legal guardian, it had been a long-standing source of rancour since the arrival of his last letter congratulating Alexandra on achieving a top degree in Hospitality Management.

She remembered the variety of expressions that flitted over her Aunt’s face as she read out loud the rest of her Godfather’s letter, surprise, indignation and anger at his intention to bring his Goddaughter to live with him at his home in Essex. Unfortunately, her Aunt’s obvious dislike of her Godfather had not softened over the years – he was everything she despised in a man. Now in his early-forties and immensely rich he had successfully managed to avoid the marriage trap in-spite of a constant stream of new young nubile beauties hoping they would be the right woman at the right time!
